Starting in May, Merlin Properties group will host pick up points from Amazon, a global leader in electronic commerce, in their Shopping Centers.
Thanks to this new service, the company’s customers will be able to collect their orders quickly and efficiently. To do this, from the Amazon website the buyer will be given the choice of whether to receive the order at his home or in a physical establishment, among which there will be 14 Shopping Centers of Merlin Properties group; Marineda City, Arturo Soria, Centro Oeste, Porto Pi, Larios Centro, Artea, Arenas de Barcelona, Vilamarina, La Fira, El Saler, Factory Bonaire, La Vital, Thader and Tres Aguas.
“Pick up points have become the preferred delivery option for many consumers”, explains Xavier Garambois, Vice President Retail for Amazon in Europe.
This new service will be offered at the same price as home delivery and will allow customers to collect their purchases at a time that suits them best, including Saturdays and, in some cases, even Sundays. Orders will be kept for 14 days and can be collected by showing the ID.
Through this initiative, Merlin Properties continues to be at the forefront of new trends and enhances the customer experience in all its centers.
