On July 3rd, a blood donation campaign will be carried out at Arenas de Barcelona in collaboration with the Banc de Teixits (Blood Bank).
A space will be set up in the Dome of the Center in which a team of specialists from the Banc de Teixits will attend, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., all the people who join the blood donation campaign.
In addition, all those who participate will be able to enjoy a €5 voucher for breakfast or a snack in any cafeteria of the Shopping Center.
According to the Bank itself, one in five people will need blood or blood derivatives throughout our lives. Another interesting fact is that, during the state of alarm, more than 53,000 people have donated blood and that 15% of the transfusions carried out have been destined to treat patients with COVID.
This data only confirms the importance of maintaining donations regularly, a simple fact that helps save lives around the world. For this reason, we encourage everyone to participate 🙂
